Brylee was flown to Salt Lake City by Lifeflight on the 18th. She spent a couple of days in the Primary Children's Hospital after a fall.

I'll try to make this as short as I can and still get most of the details in. Dana and Brittney had the three younger kids at the store. Addison and Ethan were in the cart and Brylee was in her car seat which was latched to the cart. Brylee was being fussy so Dana picked her up to comfort her. This happened a couple times. She got quiet just as Ethan started up. So Dana put Brylee down in her seat and when around the side of the cart and picked up Ethan. Just then Addison decided to stand up. She grabbed hold of the top of the car seat to pull herself up and in doing so she flipped the seat over backwards. Brylee wasn't strapped in this time. Dana thought she would for sure be right back there to hold her again. So Brylee was sent flying and landed on her back on the hard floor. She started screaming immediately, which the doctors said was a good thing. Dana and Brittney took her to the E.R. A CT Scan was done and it was determined that Brylee had a fractured scull. A priesthood blessing was given by Bishop Kohler and Chris Horne, a best friend. As soon as the plane arrived Brylee and Dana were flown to Salt Lake and taken to Primary Children's Hospital. Shawn had been out deer hunting and found out about the accident just in time to get back into town and meet the ambulance at the airport. He went home and gathered some things and drove up to Salt Lake that night.

Brylee being loaded onto the plane... it's a little shaky and blurry, but was taken with a phone camera... just something we thought we'd want to have.

She spent the next day in a head/back brace.

The doctor came in Sunday afternoon and told us her back and neck looked fine and her scull, although it had a fracture down the back approximately 5 inches long, was going to be fine too. He removed the brace and finally Brylee was able to move again.

It hurt at first, but it wasn't long and mommy had her calmed down. Still she was having a pretty bad hair day:

Soon enough that didn't matter either and Brylee was back to her happy smiling self again.

We want to thank everyone for your prayers in her behalf. She has no back injuries. There is no swelling under her scull. The doctor says she will be completely healed in 4 to 6 weeks. Prayers were answered for this little one. We are so very thankful to our Heavenly Father for this blessing and for all of you.
